First off, the name: it comes from our founders, Eduardo and Sylvia Rallo. This is actually a play on the phrase buen rollo, which in Spanish means “good vibes” or “good cheer.” And as anyone who has met this remarkable couple will tell you, the name fits perfectly.
Eduardo and Sylvia are true global citizens. Born in Cuernavaca, Mexico, they now call Barcelona home. Still, after years in San Francisco, the Bay Area continues to hold their hearts. It’s here they’ve chosen to introduce some of the world’s most exciting takes on regional cuisines, along with spaces, moments, and products designed to inspire and transform.
